The characteristics of a Nahual

 1-. He can only transform at night and in the morning when the sun rises he is human again

2-.Their mission is to protect the town where it belongs, as told by the legends of Tlaxcala

3-.If you manage to hurt the nahual in its animal state, when it becomes human it will suffer the same damage where it was injured

4-.Some are Nahuales by birth, while others are believed to have been converted as a result of making a pact.

In the Mexica belief system, Tezcatlipoca was the god of the night, obsidian, the north, and witchcraft, among other concepts.
